But, sometimes, you may have issues connecting your windows to the network. One of the issues you could face is \u201c<code>Windows Can\u2019t Connect To This Network<\/code>\u201d. Usually, this type of error doesn&#8217;t explain much about the root cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based on our experience, there are several steps to fix this issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-verify-that-the-problem-is-your-windows\">1. Verify that the problem is your windows<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you can&#8217;t connect your Windows 10 computer or tablet to wireless, check to see if you can connect any of your other devices to the same network <span id=\"640b634e-ba5d-465e-81c4-546ca023d193\" data-items=\"[&quot;2904421634&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" contenteditable=\"false\">\u200b[1]\u200b<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then, try to reboot your network device (e.g. modem or router). Or, if you use the phone&#8217;s internet as a hotspot, try to restart that phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If other devices have no problem connecting to the network after you restart your network device, we can say that your windows 10 is the main issue. Then we can go to the next step below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2-fixing-your-windows-10-connection-issue\">2. Fixing your windows 10 connection issue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are several things you can do to solve the \u201c<code>Windows Can\u2019t Connect To This Network<\/code>\u201d problem:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-1-run-cmd-as-administrator\">Step 1: Run CMD as administrator<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You can click the windows icon <\/li><li>then type &#8220;<code>cmd<\/code>&#8221; directly,<\/li><li>then you can click <code>Run as Administrator<\/code>,<\/li><li>it may ask for your administrator password, before it can open the command prompt.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"848\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.indowhiz.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/run-cmd-as-admin.jpg\" alt=\"run cmd as administrator\" class=\"wp-image-4869\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-2-open-device-manager\">Step 2: Open device manager<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open the device manager by typing &#8220;<code>devmgmt.msc<\/code>&#8221; in the CMD, then press <code>enter<\/code> <span id=\"eb028eb9-f969-4915-a961-843212e3e4e8\" data-items=\"[&quot;565846273&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" contenteditable=\"false\">\u200b[2]\u200b<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This will open the device manager in administrator mode, to allow you to make any changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"649\" height=\"290\" src=\"https:\/\/www.indowhiz.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/run-device-manager-from-cmd.jpg\" alt=\"run device manager from cmd\" class=\"wp-image-4870\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-3-uninstall-your-wi-fi-driver\">Step 3: Uninstall your Wi-Fi driver<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some Wi-Fi settings may be incorrect or corrupted. So, we need to uninstall the current Wi-Fi driver, and reinstalled it later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To uninstall your Wi-Fi:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In the device manager, double-click <code>Network Adapters<\/code>, then find and right-click your Wi-Fi device name,<\/li><li>click <code>uninstall device<\/code>,<\/li><li>then, in the uninstallation confirmation box, check the <code>Delete the driver software for this device<\/code> option,<\/li><li>then click <code>Uninstall<\/code>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"781\" height=\"572\" src=\"https:\/\/www.indowhiz.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/uninstall-device-driver.jpg\" alt=\"uninstall network device driver\" class=\"wp-image-4871\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-4-reinstall-your-wi-fi-driver\">Step 4: Reinstall your Wi-Fi driver<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In the device manager, click <code>Network Adapters<\/code>,<\/li><li>then click the <code>Scan for hardware changes<\/code> icon in the icon bar, or you can find it in the <code>Action<\/code> menu &gt; <code>Scan for hardware changes<\/code>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"781\" height=\"572\" src=\"https:\/\/www.indowhiz.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/scan-new-network-device-in-device-manager.jpg\" alt=\"scan new network device in device manager\" class=\"wp-image-4872\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Windows will detect the missing driver for your Wi-Fi and reinstall it automatically <span id=\"75f30a75-ab6a-4281-94ce-17cd49133fd9\" data-items=\"[&quot;1200283743&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" contenteditable=\"false\">\u200b[3]\u200b<\/span>. Commonly, in normal cases, your Wi-Fi device should reappear in the network adapters list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you can&#8217;t find your Wi-Fi device name in the network adapters list, then you need to install the driver manually. You may download it from its manufacturer&#8217;s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-5-update-your-wi-fi-driver\">Step 5: Update your Wi-Fi driver<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before we continue, try to connect your Wi-fi to your network.
