Karena mobil itu akan sangat mahal, tidak reliabel, dan tidak memenuhi syarat untuk dapat dikemudikan di jalan raya. Selain itu, kendaraan biasa hanya dimaksudkan untuk mengangkut orang\/barang ke tempat tujuannya. Artinya, kendaraan biasa yang diproduksi secara massal yang kamu temui di jalan-jalan kota, tidak hanya diproduksi dengan mempertimbangkan efektivitas dan efisiensinya, tetapi juga dari aspek keterjangkauan kendaraan itu sendiri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A. Karakteristik mesin F1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mari kita asumsikan kamu &#8220;mampu&#8221; memasangkan mesin F1 asli ke kendaraan biasa (misalnya sedan atau minibus), yang didukung oleh pabrikan mobil terbesar di dunia. Akan sangat sulit untuk menjual mobil bermesin F1 tersebut kepada orang-orang &#8220;biasa&#8221;. Karena, mobil itu akan menjadi sangat mahal, tidak reliabel, dan tidak memenuhi syarat untuk dapat dikemudikan di jalan raya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Harga mesin F1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mesin F1 dibangun untuk mendapatkan tenaga paling tinggi dan efisien. Dalam hal ini, semua bagian mesin, diproduksi dengan tingkat presisi tinggi dan bahan berkualitas tinggi. Misalnya, celah antara dinding silinder dan piston pada mesin F1 jauh lebih rapat daripada rata-rata celah dinding silinder dan piston pada mesin mobil biasa. Selain itu, mesin F1, 1.6 Liter V6 (2022), harus dapat beroperasi secara normal pada kecepatan putaran yang sangat tinggi hingga lebih dari 15.000 RPM dan tahan terhadap gaya 200 g. Harga mobil <em>hypercar<\/em> ini hanya seperempat dari harga mesin F1 asli. Nah, seberapa mahal harga kendaraan jalan raya jika menggunakan mesin F1 asli?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prosedur pemanasan dan menyalakan mesin<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kamu tidak bisa serta-merta menyalakan mesin F1, dan harus melalui beberapa tahapan prosedur <span id=\"d88217c9-dcdf-4685-bd33-c901e97d1800\" data-items=\"[&quot;3065136332&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" contenteditable=\"false\">\u200b[3]\u200b<\/span>. Karena celah antara dinding silinder dan piston sangat rapat, menggerakkan piston dengan oli dingin dapat menyebabkan abrasi. Artinya, prosedur ini sangat tidak praktis jika harus dilakukan setiap hari dan setiap kali kamu akan menggunakan kendaraan <span id=\"fcf2c0e0-3498-4c0c-b744-d8f0605f5c05\" data-items=\"[&quot;1542221532&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" contenteditable=\"false\">\u200b[6]\u200b<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Konsumsi bahan bakar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ada kabar gembira, bahwa kamu dapat menggunakan bahan bakar umum dengan oktan minimal 87 untuk mesin F1 <span id=\"4cf52534-fb44-4d34-853f-874daaa401cb\" data-items=\"[&quot;2330299157&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" contenteditable=\"false\">\u200b[7]\u200b<\/span>. Namun, karena mesin F1 hanya dapat stabil dengan putaran minimal 5.000 RPM dalam kondisi mobil tidak bergerak (<em>idle<\/em>) <span id=\"790a7533-d320-4057-89bb-8eb79565ae2c\" data-items=\"[&quot;1971155226&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" contenteditable=\"false\">\u200b[8]\u200b<\/span>, konsumsi bahan bakarnya akan sangat tinggi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mari kita lakukan perhitungan sederhana, dengan asumsi putaran mesin mobil biasa pada saat <em>idle<\/em> antara 700-800 RPM <span id=\"5cabadf1-ae94-4678-9106-76c13fa21cf4\" data-items=\"[&quot;2372526733&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" contenteditable=\"false\">\u200b[9]\u200b<\/span>. Lalu, mesin akan membakar hingga ~2,73 liter (0,6 galon) per jam, per liter <em>displacement<\/em> (per 1.000 cc) <span id=\"3bfe6dd3-ce1b-482e-bdc4-a60db86254ce\" data-items=\"[&quot;3912415939&quot;,&quot;2360648684&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" contenteditable=\"false\">\u200b[10], [11]\u200b<\/span>. Maka, mesin F1 dengan <em>displacement<\/em> 1.600 cc, dan putaran <em>idle<\/em> 5.000 RPM (lebih dari 7 kali putaran mesin kendaran biasa), akan membakar hingga ~36,37 Liter (~8 galon) bahan bakar per jam, tanpa mobil bergerak satu kilometerpun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Umur mesin<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Umumnya, mesin F1 diproduksi untuk dapat bertahan sekitar 7 perlombaan <span id=\"1c37bb71-47c8-4ec8-8405-14a6b064487d\" data-items=\"[&quot;921741161&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" contenteditable=\"false\">\u200b[12]\u200b<\/span>. Jarak minimum setiap perlombaan Formula 1 lebih dari ~305 kilometer (kecuali Grand Prix Monaco), tidak termasuk sesi latihan dan kualifikasi. Artinya, mesin harus dapat bertahan setidaknya 2400 km (1491,3 mil), atau didesain akan bertahan sekitar dua kali lipat jarak tersebut. Mari kita asumsikan kendaraanmu menggunakan mesin F1, dan tidak akan digunakan lebih dari 10.000 RPM di jalan raya. Maka, masa pakainya mungkin jauh lebih jauh dari angka di atas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Namun, dibandingkan dengan rata-rata mesin mobil biasa yang dapat bertahan ~12 tahun atau ~320.000 km (~200.000 mil)\u200b <span id=\"bdb9c88b-d472-45b4-9639-a7f633ba66ac\" data-items=\"[&quot;3498785019&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" contenteditable=\"false\">\u200b[13]\u200b<\/span>, mesin F1 diragukan bisa mencapai setengahnya. Alhasil, tidak akan reliable jika digunakan sebagai mesin kendaraan harian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Emisi gas buang<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kendala terbesar untuk menggunakan mesin F1 di kendaraan biasa adalah karena peraturan emisi gas buang. Dengan putaran mesin F1 antara 5.000-15.000 RPM, sudah dapat dipastikan tidak akan lulus uji emisi untuk kendaraan layak jalan <span id=\"0479196b-b27d-4482-a194-5a38a9261bf2\" data-items=\"[&quot;1971155226&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" contenteditable=\"false\">\u200b[8]\u200b<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">B. Mobil jalan raya yang menggunakan mesin turunan F1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Karena tidak praktis menggunakan mesin F1 asli, banyak hal yang harus diadaptasi sebelum dapat digunakan di mobil yang layak di jalan raya.
