Setelah berhasil login dengan nama pengguna dan kata sandi, komputer hanya menampilkan layar hitam atau <em>blank<\/em>. Lalu muncul pesan kesalahan, seperti ini:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre title=\"Using RDC on PC\/laptop\" class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"markdown\" class=\"language-markdown\">Your Remote Desktop Service session has ended, possibly for one of the following reasons:\n\nThe administrator has ended the session.\nAn error occured while the connection was being established.\nA network problem occured.\n\nFor help solving the problem, see \"Remote Desktop\" in help and support.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">yang tidak memberikan informasi yang berguna, atau ini:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre title=\"Using RD Client for Android\" class=\"wp-block-code\"><code lang=\"markdown\" class=\"language-markdown\">Your session was disconnected\nThe graphics display components in the remote session failed to start up.\nError code: 0x12<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Menurut opini saya, masalah ini kemungkinan besar disebabkan oleh permasalahan pada aplikasi Windows RDC. Hal ini karena komputer server masih dapat diakses dengan normal melalui aplikasi <em>remote<\/em> lainnya, seperti Google Remote Desktop atau TeamViewer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solusi 1: Menurunkan kualitas tampilan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pada komputer klien, buka Remote Desktop Connection. Jika kita tidak dapat menemukan opsi lengkap (seperti pada Gambar 1), klik <code>\u25bc show options<\/code>. Kemudian, lakukan hal berikut:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Buka tab <code>Display<\/code>, lalu:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>pada <code>Display configuration<\/code>, gunakan resolusi yang sama dengan pada komputer server (jika tersedia). Jika tidak, gunakan resolusi yang lebih kecil,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>nonaktifkan opsi <code>Use all my monitors for the remote session<\/code>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pada pengaturan <code>Colors<\/code>, pilih <code>color depth<\/code> yang lebih rendah (mis., 15 bit). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Buka tab <code>Experience<\/code>, lalu:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>pilih <code>connection speed<\/code> yang lebih rendah, dan <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>nonaktifkan semua kualitas visual (misal <code>Desktop composition<\/code> dan <code>Visual styles<\/code>). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jika perlu, nonaktifkan juga opsi <code>Persistent bitmap caching<\/code>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Buka tab <code>Local Resources<\/code>, lalu:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>pada <code>Local devices and resources<\/code>, nonaktifkan opsi <code>Printers<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>[<em>opsional<\/em>] pada <code>Remote audio<\/code>, klik <code>Settings...<\/code>, dan nonaktifkan audio dengan memilih <code>Do not play<\/code> dan <code>Do not record<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"407\" height=\"494\" src=\"https:\/\/www.indowhiz.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Win-RDP-experience-options_compressed.jpg\" alt=\"Opsi detail pada Remote Desktop Connection (RDC).\" class=\"wp-image-6544\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Gambar 1. Opsi detail Remote Desktop.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Catatan: solusi ini memiliki peluang kecil menyelesaikan masalah RDC ini.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solusi 2: Nyalakan ulang komputer server<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sebenarnya, masalah layar hitam (<em>blank\/black screen<\/em>) pada RDC ini dapat dengan mudah diselesaikan dengan me-restart komputer server. <em><strong>Tapi, bagaimana cara melakukannya? <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Biasanya, kita masih bisa mengakses komputer server dengan menggunakan aplikasi remote lainnya, termasuk Google Remote Desktop dan TeamViewer, atau bahkan menggunakan SSH. Kemudian, setelah komputer server dinyalakan ulang (<em>restart<\/em>), kita dapat menggunakan Windows RDC kembali. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selain cara di atas, tidak ada cara lain selain me-restart komputer server secara manual. Kita dapat meminta rekan kita atau seseorang yang secara fisik dekat dengan komputer server, jika ada. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Catatan: Sebelum me-restart komputer server, pastikan tidak ada aplikasi penting yang mungkin masih berjalan dan belum disimpan.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solusi 3: Perbarui\/<em>rollback<\/em> driver GPU di komputer server<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kita dapat mencoba solusi ini jika kita masih dapat mengakses komputer server dengan menggunakan aplikasi remote lainnya atau setelah menyalakan ulang komputer server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pertama, pada komputer server, buka driver GPU (atau <em>graphics processing unit<\/em>) pada <code>Device Manager<\/code>, dengan cara berikut:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>buka <code>Control Panel<\/code>, dengan membuka <code><code>Start menu<\/code><\/code> Windows, lalu ketik <code>Control Panel<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ubah <code>View by<\/code> menjadi <code>Large icons<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cari dan klik-kanan <code>Device Manager<\/code>, lalu klik <code>Run as administrator<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pada <code>Display Adapters<\/code>, cari dan klik dua kali pada nama GPU utama. Atau, kita dapat melakukan klik-kanan dan memilih <code>Properties<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kemudian, pastikan komputer server menggunakan driver GPU dengan versi terbaru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"890\" height=\"457\" src=\"https:\/\/www.indowhiz.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/device-manager-GPU-driver-management.jpg\" alt=\"Manajemen driver GPU\" class=\"wp-image-8460\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Gambar 2. Manajemen driver GPU.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Namun, mungkin saja kita mengalami masalah layar hitam pada RDC ini justru setelah memperbarui driver GPU. Maka, kita dapat mencoba me-<em>rollback<\/em> driver GPU ke versi sebelumnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solusi 4: Perbarui Windows atau gunakan XDDM display driver<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Kita dapat mencoba solusi ini jika kita masih dapat mengakses komputer server dengan menggunakan aplikasi remote lainnya atau setelah menyalakan ulang komputer server.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seperti yang telah disebutkan di halaman pembaruan Microsoft, <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/topic\/august-30-2019-kb4512941-os-build-18362-329-718203aa-33ff-813d-37c9-ed9a2954fa98\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KB4512941<\/a> dapat menyelesaikan masalah layar hitam di RDC. Kita dapat menginstalnya di komputer server lalu menyalakan ulang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selain itu, kita dapat mencoba memaksa RDC untuk menggunakan <a href=\"https:\/\/answers.microsoft.com\/en-us\/windows\/forum\/all\/windows-10-v1903-black-screen-with-remote-desktop\/23c8a740-0c79-4042-851e-9d98d0efb539\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">XDDM display driver<\/a>. Untuk menerapkannya, pada komputer server, lakukan hal berikut:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>buka <code>Start menu<\/code> Windows, lalu ketik <code>gpedit.msc<\/code> dan klik <code>Run as administrator<\/code>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pilih <code>Local Computer Policy<\/code> -> <code>Computer Configuration<\/code> -> <code>Administrative Templates<\/code> -> <code>Windows Components<\/code> -> <code>Remote Desktop Services<\/code> -> <code>Remote Desktop Session Host<\/code> -> <code>Remote Session Environment<\/code>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ubah kebijakan &#8220;<code>Use WDDM graphics display driver for Remote Desktop Connections<\/code>&#8221; dari yang awalnya &#8220;<code>Not configured<\/code>&#8221; menjadi &#8220;<code>Disabled<\/code>.&#8221; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>nyalakan ulang komputernya.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1108\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.indowhiz.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Windows-set-policy-to-force-RDC-to-use-XDDM-display-driver.jpg\" alt=\"Menetapkan kebijakan untuk menggunakan XDDM pada Remote Desktop\" class=\"wp-image-8439\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Gambar 3. Menetapkan kebijakan untuk menggunakan XDDM pada Remote Desktop.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jika kita tidak dapat menemukan opsi ini di <code>Local Group Policy Editor<\/code>, kita dapat menambahkan opsi ini ke Registry secara manual menggunakan Command Prompt, dengan cara berikut:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>pada komputer server, buka <code><code>Start menu<\/code><\/code> Windows, lalu ketik <code>CMD<\/code> dan klik <code>Run as administrator<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pada Command Prompt, ketik <code>REG ADD \"HKLM\\SOFTWARE\\Policies\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\Terminal Services\" \/v \"fEnableWddmDriver\" \/t REG_DWORD \/d 0 \/f<\/code> lalu tekan enter.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pencegahan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sejauh yang saya tahu di Windows, Remote Desktop Connection lebih cepat dan praktis dibandingkan aplikasi remote lainnya. Namun, terkadang kita mengalami sebuah masalah pada RDC, seperti <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indowhiz.com\/articles\/id\/remote-desktop-kesalahan-protokol\/\">kesalahan protokol<\/a> dan layar hitam. Jadi, untuk memastikan bahwa kita dapat menyelesaikan masalah RDC di masa mendatang, kita perlu menyiapkan aplikasi remote lainnya di komputer server. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kita bisa menggunakan aplikasi lain seperti Google Remote Desktop atau TeamViewer. Namun, kita harus mengaturnya agar aplikasi tersebut secara otomatis berjalan ketika kita login atau me-restart komputer. Sehingga kita bisa mengakses komputer server menggunakan aplikasi remote tersebut, kapan saja. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kemudian, jika kita mengalami masalah dalam menggunakan RDC, kita dapat menggunakan aplikasi remote lain yang telah kita siapkan.
